My life might seem crazy to some people … I travel all over the world (but not during the lockdown) while still trading and teaching. But I’ve had the same strategies for as long as I can remember. Since I know these patterns, trading is really like riding a bike for me. And my dedicated students also make it easier for me to pass on my knowledge. Alex and I dig into some big trading questions, like how I can tell which students will likely succeed… I’ll give you a quick hint: It’s not about how much money is in their trading accounts. It’s not even really about how much market knowledge they have. Tune in to find out what I see as a solid marker for finding consistency. Do you think you have what it takes? You gotta know what you can do to be better than the 90% of traders who fail. It’s not easy… Here’s another key question Alex asks … How did I begin to move from short selling to long setups… In all honesty, it was a lot about the opportunities I was seeing in the market. But another reason why I moved away from short selling is it’s SO risky. The risk/reward is rarely worth it for me. Trading is hard … and short selling is even more difficult. It’s a tough strategy to execute properly. Teaching short selling strategies is even harder — especially when it comes to newbies. I don’t recommend it unless you’re already really familiar with the market. I always say trading isn’t an exact science — and all trading comes with risk.
