Imagine a building that looks like a regular one on the outside but is actually all fake? Turns out New York City is full of those. At 58 Joralemon Street, there is a building that was meant to be a regular one, but in 1908, they converted it into a fake building. It’s part of a ventilation fan for the subway and also serves as an emergency exit for some of the surrounding buildings.
