66 million years ago, during the last days of the Mesozoic era, the peaceful world didn't know yet that a rock the size of a mountain was hurtling toward Earth at a speed of more than 40,000 mph. Dinosaurs roaming the prehistoric Earth didn't know yet that they had to run, hide, and save themselves! The force of the collision was so powerful that the space visitor didn't stop until it got through Earth's crust to a depth of several miles.
