In 2003, a team of researchers sent one of their pioneering robots, the Beagle 2, to space. Its mission was to touch down on Mars and search for life on the Red Planet. The touchdown was due on December 25th, but… The signal never came! The Beagle 2 was considered missing – until 2015, when NASA took pictures of what could be the remains of the lost lander.
