What Will Happen If We Throw All Our Trash Into Volcanos

Humans produce millions of tons of trash each day, and getting rid of it has become a serious issue. Volcanoes are known for their destructive super powers, and they seem to be able to burn just about anything. What if it was possible to use volcanoes as the solution to our trash problem? Could they really be natural disposal stations? A truck, loaded with wastes, dumped into a lava dome would result in a massive explosion with a lava discharge, followed by an outbreak of toxic gas spreading in the air. Lots of huge electric discharges would go through the ash clouds and lightning would strike everywhere around the volcano. So it looks like volcanoes aren't the best place to dump your trash, after all. #volcanoes #whatif #brightside TIMESTAMPS:

-The first type of volcanoes are called Cinder Cones – they’re reactive, constantly spewing hot gases and lava up in the air. The calm volcanoes are not active enough and it’s too hard to reach their lava for it to be useful. The more stable type that would allow people to get close enough to dump trash is called a Shield Volcano.
-The process of waste disposal needs to be stable, as humanity produces millions of tons of garbage each day. In a year, these numbers reach a stunning 2.12 billion tons worldwide. -The stink is only the beginning of the problem when it comes to burning plastic or rubber. Gas emissions are toxic and damaging to the environment, plus microscopic particles of plastic get mixed with drops of water in the atmosphere and then go back to earth.
-The only type of volcano that might suit this purpose is called a Shield Volcano. The most well-known examples of them are Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea in Hawaii. Lava pools formed by Shield Volcanoes may look soft, but they suppress a huge threat underneath, that’s better left untouched. And where lava is, there’s also highly pressurized acidic steams that are immensely toxic for anyone around. -A truck, loaded with wastes, dumped into a lava dome would result in a massive explosion with a lava discharge, followed by an outbreak of toxic gas spreading in the air. Lots of huge electric discharges would go through the ash clouds and lightning would strike everywhere around the volcano. Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz
