The Kola Superdeep Borehole located in Murmansk Region in Russia turns out to be the deepest place on the ground! Scientists drilled a hole in the Kola Borehole and made numerous discoveries. One of the most unusual discoveries at the Borehole was that the soil at a depth of about 2 miles almost perfectly matches the composition of the surface of the Moon.
