Would you like to travel the world in a hot air balloon? You'd need a sound navigation system, a wealthy sponsor, and tireless endurance. Steve Fossett decided to do it in 1997. He managed to take off and cross the Atlantic Ocean on the 3rd attempt, but his plan failed while he was trying to fly over the Southern Hemisphere. In his sixth attempt, Fossett made it around the world in a hot air balloon: his 'Spirit of Freedom' balloon landed in Queensland, Australia, after a two-week flight across the globe. But then, the traveler mysteriously disappeared. #brightside Animation is created by Bright Side.
