This Guy Made the Biggest Limousine out of a Plane

Have you ever wanted to hire a limousine? What if the limo is crossed with a plane? One guy decided he wanted to combine his love for a 727 plane with the ability to drive it on the road. He removed the wings and the tail from the body and attached the plane's body to a Mercedes Benz bus. This is just one example of an unusual vehicle that was actually on the road – let's look at more of those engineering miracles. #brightside Animation is created by Bright Side.

What Destroyed the World’s Biggest Wooden House?

The biggest log cabin in the world was known as the Forestry Building and was built in 1905 in Portland, Oregon. The interior of the cabin held 54 giant, unpeeled logs, and some of them were 6 feet across. And then, one night, almost 60 years later, is burnt down in only 15 minutes. Luckily, there are other constructions made of timber around the world that you can still visit today. For example, check out The Great Eastern Temple in Japan from the early 8th century or the world’s tallest wooden building, located in Norway. #brightside Credit: Minister's Tree House: By Andy Melton, CC BY-SA 2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0, https://flic.kr/p/aayxh9 tree house: By Joel Kramer, CC BY 2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0, https://flic.kr/p/5WsxtZ CC BY-SA 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0: Mjøsa Tower: By Øyvind Holmstad, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=79433990 HoHo: By Alexander Migl, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=86003199 Treet: By Sparrow (麻雀), https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=78179820 Granot Loma: By JNeilBrooks, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=109902157 Animation is created by Bright Side.

Would you like to spend one day with typical Londoners of the 19th century? You'll wake up using the services of knocker-uppers. Many People Tried to Reach This Island, No One Survived

This mysterious island simply appeared and then disappeared on Google Maps! We've seen this small piece of land on maps ever since 1876 – when a French ship supposedly discovered it. Sandy Island has been systematically "undiscovered" over the years, but it has yet to be erased completely from all maps. You may even find it on some maps with the label ED – which means "existence doubtful." Are you ready to discover this mysterious place and other unique places around the world? #brightside Credit: Surtsey: By Brian Gratwicke – https://flic.kr/p/oyUWsv, CC BY 2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=72306317 Lascaux entrance: By Ethan Doyle White, CC BY-SA 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=44477290 Animation is created by Bright Side.
