Lose Weight in 1 Month With No Gym Or Diet, Here’s How

We all know that weight loss requires a lot of hard work. However, several studies have shown that if we change some of our habits we can actually lose those pounds without too much effort. For example, when you're in the shower, sing a song or two. A 10-minute-long concert will help you drop around 20 calories depending on how much you weigh. Or did you know that your metabolism loves a good joke and starts working more intensively? Plus, it works out different muscles, tones your tummy and boosts your immune system! If you don’t get enough good sleep, your metabolism slows down and your appetite grows strong. The exact number of calories you burn while sleeping depends on your weight and age. But taking care of your sleep quality is good for everyone. So buy yourself a better mattress, put away all your gadgets before bed, and stick to a healthy sleeping schedule! And a relaxing hot bath is just as good for losing weight as a 30-minute walk. But there are other ways to lose excess fat. We invite you to try these cool tricks to lose weight naturally. #brightside TIMESTAMPS:

No Country Wants to See This Bug, Here’s Why

Some animals clearly let you know they’re no joke. Sharks with rows and rows of razor-sharp teeth, a scorpion’s venomous stinger, the ominous sound of a rattlesnake about to strike. You get the picture. Yet plenty of seemingly harmless creatures wreak more havoc than even the scariest animals out there. Like the Spotted Lanternfly – a pretty little bug from parts of Taiwan, Vietnam, and northern China that managed to bring its own terror around the world! Only about as big as the tip of your thumb, this bug is easily identifiable. It has grey or brownish forewings with black spots. Under those, you have bright red hindwings that make this critter a real beauty! But don’t be fooled… Although this bug doesn’t bite or sting people, it can be an ecosystem’s worst nightmare! Yes, there are creatures that can be bad for the environment when nature's balance gets disrupted. Let's find out more about some of them! #brightside TIMESTAMPS:

Something Opened a Bermuda Triangle in Space But No One Knows What

The notorious Bermuda Triangle in the North Atlantic Ocean makes people, ships, and airplanes vanish into thin air. Some experts blame bad weather conditions. Others are sure the reason is heavy traffic in the area and human error. Many people believe in conspiracy theories: aliens, the lost city of Atlantis, or even a massive meteorite lying on the ocean floor. There are also those who deny there's anything unusual about the Triangle. And still, the mystery remains. But few people know that the South Atlantic Ocean has an enigma of its own. Well, not the ocean itself, but a patch of space above this area. It's dubbed "the Bermuda Triangle of space" or "the South Atlantic Anomaly.” There, Earth's protection against solar radiation is much weaker than anywhere else. When spacecraft get into this region, all kinds of serious problems occur to them. When NASA was launching its $2.5 billion Perseverance rover in July 2020, the space agency planners had to do their best to avoid the space Bermuda Triangle. #brightside Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz

If You See This Bird, Climb a Tree to Safety!

When you think of the world’s most dangerous birds, eagles or vultures may come to your mind. Surprisingly, the awkward cassowaries may cause way more damage than the notorious angry birds mentioned. It is the third-tallest and second-heaviest bird in the world after the ostrich and emu. The cassowary is one of the most dangerous birds, as its fierce kick can be fatal for a human or other smaller creature. Speaking of ostriches, if you think these weird birds don’t pose any danger, you got it wrong! First, they actually don’t shove their heads in the sand — it’s an optical illusion. Second, these guys are kinda overprotective parents so if you ever want to approach their young, these heavyweight beasts who can run as fast as a car within city limits are gonna come for you. By the way, ostriches are the closest living relatives to T-Rex — together with chickens. So, here are some interesting facts you might not know about the most amazing bird species. #brightside TIMESTAMPS:

People Criticized Eiffel Tower 100 Years Ago, Here Why

In 1886, a competition was announced in Paris. The winner would get the right to design and build the centerpiece for the World’s Fair of 1889. The company of Gustave Eiffel proposed a project that won among 107 others. The first project of the architects from Eiffel’s company was a tower with stonework pedestals, monumental arches between the columns, halls with glass walls on each level, the top shaped like a bulb, and plenty of ornaments. That project was too complicated so they changed it. The Eiffel Tower looks revolutionary where it stands even today, but back in the late 19th century, it was a real sensation, for which a lot of people criticized it. Famous writers called it a tragic street lamp, a half-built factory pipe, and a giant skeleton. They weren’t too wrong. The tower really has something in common with a human skeleton: it was inspired by a thighbone! So, today, we're talking about absolutely amazing inventions inspired by Mother Nature. #brightside TIMESTAMPS:
