How do animals see the world? The world might look like a colorful place, but it really depends on what your eyes let you see. Humans, for example, are sensitive to just 3 colors: red, blue, and green, but this allows us to see the millions of colors derived from them. While animals have eyes that come with all different kinds of “vision,” with some even being able to see colors we can only imagine. To understand how far animals can see, scientists use a measure called CPD. The higher it is, the better their vision. For example, springtails have CPD of 0.02. These tiny creatures can barely see shapes, because their eyes have only 8 light-sensitive cells, compared to the human eye’s 100 million. Human beings have an average CPD of 70 and can detect a burning candle from almost 2 miles away! We share the planet with billions of other creatures that are extremely different from one another, and here’s another compilation of cool facts about animals. #brightside Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz

10+ Animals That Don’t Have Most Important Organs
Horses live without a gall bladder. Lots of predatory animals, including our beloved cats and dogs, don’t have sweat glands on their bodies. Lungless salamanders live happily without — you guessed it — lungs. And lots of snake species have only one working lung. So, as you have probably guessed, we've prepared another compilation of cool facts about animals. Did you know that some animals don't have really important organs? And perhaps the most impossible creature in the world is a jellyfish. It doesn’t have any sensory organs we’re used to, like eyes, ears, and nose, it has no skeleton, but most importantly, it hasn’t got a brain or heart. Its body is almost entirely made of water — that’s why, if you take a jellyfish out of the sea and put it on the shore, it will soon melt. It just might be that jellyfish have given up their hearts and brains for the sake of other sea creatures, because octopuses, for example, can have multiple of those! 😜 #brightside EPISODES:

The Only Water Elevator And 15 Other Elevators for the Bravest
An elevator is not necessarily a boring metal box carrying people and cargos up and down. The world's strangest elevators include the only rotating boat elevator in the world, an elevator that soars up at the speed of 47 mph, and paternoster elevators. It's kind of like a revolving door that fits up to twenty people at a time. There are no closing or opening doors — you just step off at your destination! Have you ever traveled up and down inside a huge aquarium? Or maybe traveled on an incline of 39 degrees? And how about your elevator playing customized music to you? (It can be something like “Are You Lonely Tonight” for solo passengers, “Just the Two of Us” for couples, and party music for groups of four people and more). All of this is possible in the world’s craziest elevators! #brightside EPISODES:
