If You Want to be Rich, Have This Fish as Your Pet

Watch more videos in our new App: https://bit.ly/3g9KM8j Imagine you hit the jackpot and got $1 million. How would you spend it? Probably, you’d buy a cool house or a fabby car. Or maybe you would go on a trip around the world. Or you can use one of these crazy ideas to leave your friends speechless! It's a pity, but sometimes, even $1 million won't get you a new phone. You'll need a sum of money almost 50 times bigger. The most expensive phone in the world cost its lucky owner more than $48 million. Curiously enough, the world's most expensive car costs less than half the price of the aforementioned phone. But with the million you've won, you can buy the most expensive bicycle in the world. It's made of 24 carat pure gold and is called the "Beverly Hills Edition." The bicycle is decorated with custom-made emblems and diamonds. So, today, we'll talk about outrageously expensive items that will surprise even those who are used to throwing money away. #brightside TIMESTAMPS:

What If You Could See Everything Under Your Skin

Watch more videos in our new App: https://bit.ly/3g9KM8j Imagine you wake up early in the morning with a severe headache. You go to the bathroom to wash your face with cold water. And when you turn on the light, you see the reflection of a person… with no skin. Everything under there – It’s like it's all in HD. Your teeth are bare and your eyes don’t have eyelids. You really don't get that your skin is see-through, you just think it’s disappeared. You scream in fear and run out of the bathroom. It sounds like your neighbors are yelling too. Everyone in your building is getting up and having the same reaction as you. All city services shut down, at least for a few hours. There are traffic jams everywhere, as people race around like crazy trying to get to the hospital. Ambulances are everywhere, and emergency services are out, trying to calm people down. People are fainting left and right. It sounds like the panic’s finally subsided, everyone’s gone outside to see what’s going on. You also leave the house. You're in total shock, everyone really does have transparent skin. You meet your friend and he tells you that this is happening all over the world… #brightside Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz

This Star Will Explode Soon And You’ll See It on Earth

Watch more videos in our new App: https://bit.ly/3g9KM8j All the stars we see, including our Sun, are in a balance of powers. Stars are very heavy objects, so they have strong gravity, which presses them from the outside and makes them shrink. But inside a star, while it burns fuel, there are nuclear reactions that produce incredible amounts of energy. This energy is the light and heat that we feel during the day. But most importantly, these reactions increase the pressure inside the star and create a force that is fighting with gravity. A star the size of our Sun can shine for about 10 billion years. Specifically, our lovely Sun is about 4.5 billion years old and has already burned half its fuel. The next stage in a star's life comes when it runs out of juice. Internal pressure drops, but gravity continues to press. In less than half a second, a huge star turns into a small and dense object. This rapid collapse creates incredible shock waves that cause the upper layers of the star to explode. Boom! But what happens next? Well, the heavier the star, the more interesting the events will be. #brightside TIMESTAMPS:

How Your Face Works in Stunning 3D Detail

Watch more videos in our new App: https://bit.ly/3g9KM8j Our face is part of the body that’s much more responsible for communication than any other. See for yourself: there are just four muscles in the face that have a utilitarian function, which is chewing, and over 20 muscles only needed to express emotions. Did you know, for example, that the muscles that allow you to frown in disdain, pulling the corners of your mouth down, are called the depressors? What a telling name that is! You might say the tongue is a muscle too, and you won’t be wrong, but it’s not so simple. The tongue actually consists of eight different muscles woven together. And the most amazing thing about it is that it never gets tired in your entire life. You always activate different parts of the tongue, and they simply have no time to be tired. But until you think of it, you won’t notice one thing: your tongue actually doesn’t have a comfortable relaxed position in your mouth. It’s constantly moving, and when it’s not, you probably press it towards your palate. But enough tongue wagging, let’s find out more about facial anatomy! #brightside TIMESTAMPS:

A New Ocean Is Forming Under Your Feet Right Now

Watch more videos in our new App: https://bit.ly/3g9KM8j Normally, our lifetime is too short to see any major changes. We don’t notice mountains rise, the way rivers change their course, or how oceans are created. Entire valleys may be sinking, but it usually takes too long for them to sink entirely. Still, a group of scientists recently noticed there’s a new ocean being formed really fast and we can even witness it appear. Not far away from the Horn of Africa peninsula, the sixth ocean is being born at the moment! By the way, there's a theory that claims the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans might just cease to exist, forming the new ocean basin. Eurasia will be split to form a new ocean, and all the continents will migrate to merge into the supercontinent. Another possible scenario claims the continents might merge into the uniform landmass, or form a circle with a large sea inside, and the Super Pacific Ocean outside. And since all the continents keep drifting northwards even now, it’s quite probable that almost all of them will meet up somewhere at the North Pole. So, here's how the Earth might change in millions of years. #brightside TIMESTAMPS:
