It’s the list you never knew you needed: which animals have the best ups, and where do humans stack among them? Which creatures can jump? Is it true that elephants can't? What animal jumps the highest? Stick around to find out where your jump would be astronomical and where it would be impossible! By the way, did you know that although we share 99% of our DNA with Chimpanzees – they obviously got the jumping gene? Over 7 times their height in a single bound! Though their leg muscles are less than half the size of ours, they generate twice the power! But еhis does not apply to Olympic Athletes who seem to be superhuman. A Mysterious Place No People No Animals Can Approach
It was the summer of 1949. Young geologist Vadim Kolpakov was on a mission to northern Russia in the Irkutsk region. His job was to draw a geological map of the area. While on duty, he came across something so mysterious and remarkable, it’d continue to puzzle experts decades later… ooh, what could it be? Though it’s now more famous as the Patomskiy Crater, locals had dubbed it Fire Eagle Nest, probably because it looks like a giant bird nest sitting on the hill. It rises 130 ft in the air, half as tall as a Giant Sequoia. The cone-like structure’s base has a diameter of 520 ft, almost as wide as the Seattle Space Needle is tall. But what was hiding inside would be the most surprising and baffling discovery! Let's find out more about one of the most mysterious places in the world? #brightside Preview photo credit:

5+ Main Signs Someone Is Waiting Your House
How to protect your home from burglary? Every year there are about 2½ million burglaries – that’s one every 13 seconds! Yep, even your own house can't be completely safe and protected from intrusion. But thieves usually tend to examine the properties they want to break into before actually doing it. That way, they can determine if it’s a place that’s worth robbing and if it would be safe to go through with their plans. So if you have that gut feeling your house is a target too, here’s what to look out for to confirm your suspicions, and what you can do about it! Well, before breaking in, burglars try to learn as much as they can: if you have an alarm system, what kind of doors and windows you have, if you have a dog, and so on. If you feel uncomfortable about weird questions some stranger asks you, casually mention that you’ve recently installed a super expensive home security system, your dog is nuts, and your partner is a cop. Oh, and your mother is a deputy sheriff at the local jail. But there are some other tips to prevent a burglary. How Far Animals Travel in a Day (Some Make 500 Miles)
We’re all walking around with step-counters these days. So it makes you wonder: how does the average person compare to animals when it comes to distance traveled in a day? Many animals migrate over really long distances in search of food or water. But which animal walks the most? We know that you love cool facts about animals, so we've prepared for you a list of creatures that cover the shortest and greatest distances. For example, sloths typically cover 41 yards in a day – less than half the length of a football field. But they’re great swimmers and can get through the water 3 times faster than they move on land! Some swifts can fly over 105 mph and travel several hundred miles a day. They can be airborne for 10 months at a time! That means they cover the distance to the Moon and back several times in their life! Isn't that amazing? But what about the animal that travels not over distances but… time? #brightside Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz
