I Tried Rich People’s Habits, See What Happened to My Life
I'm done! It's really time to take control of my life. I want to drive a cool car, travel once a month, take care of my friends and family, and enjoy every day! I’m sure I have enough motivation and patience. So I'm gonna introduce Rich People's Habits into my life. And the first thing I'm gonna do is get up early. Okay, 5 a.m. This isn't as popular as getting up at 6 a.m., but not too early either. So, what's the reason for the early rise? The sounds of a sleeping city, the beginning of dawn, it's fascinating. Waking up so early, you have the opportunity to charge yourself with energy and confidence for the whole day. Just don’t fall asleep again! Other videos you might like:

– I prefer yoga and I spend at least 30 minutes doing it. A beautiful and healthy body isn't the main reason for training. For me, it's a psychological tone. Abs and tightened muscles are a nice bonus.
– You can take a regular shower, but I choose the hard way. It's very beneficial for the body. Turn on hot water, and the blood vessels expand; turn on the cold, and they narrow down, improving blood circulation. – There are thousands of lessons about meditation on the Internet. I won't bore you with details, here’s just a quick overview. I sit in the lotus position, keeping my back straight, turn on the timer for 15 minutes and just follow my breath.
– No habits will work if I eat poorly. I’ve started eating oatmeal with some muesli, as well as looking on the Internet for healthy recipes.
– I open a truly important and useful book. Whether it’s fictional or educational doesn’t matter.
– I write down the main tasks for the day. In fact, they should be just small parts of my huge plans and goals. Something abstract and faraway, like "My goal is to be rich and successful," won’t do the trick. – I put my clothes into the closet by category. At the same time, I throw and give away stuff that I don't need anymore. My clothes are not fashionable or stylish, but they’re comfortable for me personally. – At the beginning, I could just record how much money I spent on groceries each day. Over time, this habit would allow me to collect money for my travels quickly and correctly.
– I'd learn how to choose profitable investments, organize passive income and much more about economy stuff.
– I wasn’t about to waste time listening to music or viewing photos on social networks on my way to work. I started listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
– Honestly, sometimes I’m afraid of meeting new people. But thanks to my newfound awareness and acquired habits, my fear has finally passed. – I shouldn’t do anything that can make me go to bed late. It's better to open a book, let the air into the room, take a shower, and go to sleep no later than 10 p.m.
– All in all, the first few days of my new life were easy for me. I was full of energy and cheerfulness. After a week came laziness and apathy, but I was prepared. I just had to make myself go on with all the good habits, even when it seemed too much. Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz

13 Popular Countries That Don’t Have Trains
So, you grab a coffee and get on the morning train to find yourself at your office desk an hour later. This is the everyday routine for millions of people across the world. But there are countries where this simply isn’t possible – they have no trains! For example, if you ever decide to visit Iceland, don't expect to travel across the island in a train; there's no public railway network in the country. There was also a functioning farm railway at a dairy farm on the outskirts of Reykjavík in the 1930s. The train was used to carry goods around the property but was abandoned some years later… Other videos you might like:

Animation is created by Bright Side. SUMMARY:
– Why doesn’t Iceland have railroads? There are three reasons: the harsh climate, the small population, and their love of cars, which are the number one means of transportation in the country.
– If you look at a map of Bhutan, you'll see mostly mountains and hills. Building railways here would mean digging tunnels and constructing high bridges. That's one super-expensive project. – Andorra and Bhutan have one thing in common – mountainous terrain. That's why there aren't, and never have been, railways here. In 2004, there was a plan to build an elevated cable metro system called 'Metro Aeri’, but it was never brought to life. – Libya is one of the countries on the list that used to have a railway network, but is now train-free. The first 250 miles of railways were built here by the Kingdom of Italy back in the early 1900s. By 1965, the lines had been taken to pieces.
– If you ever visit Cyprus, make sure to stop by at the Railway Museum in the village of Evrychou. You’ll see models of the stations, wagons, photos and other things that prove railways did exist here, but are now just history.
– Now, public buses in Malta are pretty crowded and the roads are busy, so a railway probably wouldn't hurt. The only thing is that building trains above the ground would create too much noise pollution, and Malta is densely populated, with one town flowing into the other. – Unlike many countries on the list where building a railway system would be simply too expensive, Kuwait doesn't seem to have the money problem. – One of the smallest countries in South America, Suriname, has an interesting history when it comes to railways. At the beginning of the 20th century, a single-track meter gauge rail-line called Lawa Railway was supposed to be built to make the goldfields more reachable. – The US has the longest total amount of rails – over 150,000 miles of tracks. – China is number two in the world when it comes to railroad tracks. It has over 80,000 miles. – Russia, the world's largest country, comes third in railroad length, and its tracks run for over 50,000 miles. 21 Tricks to Buy Cheaper Tickets for Any Flight
We all have this friend who never seems to stop traveling. Tired of their “just arrived in –insert-beautiful-exotic-location-here–” feeds, you ask them if they either own a gold mine (after all, where do they get that kind of money?) or know some secrets on how to find cheap airfare. And – yay! – it turns out to be the second option! So, yup, it's possible to travel around the world without spending too much money. For example, try to pick the right airport. Large cities typically have more than one airport. Don’t fall for a famous name where everybody flies. Instead, look around and see if there’s a better deal for tickets to, say, London Luton instead of Heathrow. The time of day matters too. It’ll normally cost you less to take off early in the morning or late at night. No one likes 3 AM wake-ups and red eyes, right? But there are a lot of other cool tips! Other videos you might like:

Use any discounts you qualify for 6:21
Watch out for mistake fares 7:28
Go plane hitchhiking! 8:05 SUMMARY:
– Before you book your tickets, check if they cost less on some other country’s version of the airline website. – Often, using online money transfer is cheaper than paying with your credit card. – There’s no such thing as the perfect day of the week to book your trip – it’s a myth.-
– If your travel aggregator or common sense is telling you a flight with a stopover somewhere on the way will be cheaper than a direct one – book it. – How long the flight is going to take and how much you’ll have to pay for it doesn’t depend on the distance, but on the route your plane will fly.
– Check a few options before you do the final booking to get the best deal. – Spend an extra minute and sign up for a travel rewards card. – For their beloved loyal customers, many airlines offer flight passes that are much cheaper than individual tickets.
– Low-cost airlines do offer great deals, but it’s better to double check if luggage or even carry-on is included.
– It’s normally cheaper to book a round trip, but there are those rare occasions when two one-way tickets will cost you less. – Small private plane pilots do take passengers on board for a minimal fuel fee. The Way Pets Sleep Shows Their Relationship with You
What could be cuter than animals? Sleeping ones – right! The position your pet sleeps in can speak volumes about its attitude towards you. And how do some wild animals sleep? Well, that’s a real art! For example, dolphins don’t really sleep…in the traditional sense. Half of their brain rests, while the other half stays alert to monitor the situation around. Some birds, like the albatross, can sleep while flying! Their brains have a similar feature as dolphins – one half rests, the other works. This lets them make long flights without landing. Sea otters float on their backs while sleeping. But the coolest thing is that they hold each other by the paws so that nobody in the group gets lost or taken away by the current! The Bed Hog 3:39
In case you have a more exotic pet… ๐ฌ 4:07 SUMMARY:
– If your pet sleeps down near your feet, this means you toss and turn all night, and your pet is forced to leave the bed so you don't roll over on him! – To escape from the noise somehow, cats and dogs tuck themselves right between your legs when you sleep on your back. – If you share a bed with a partner, your pet can squeeze between you two. This is the warmest and safest place for them.
– It happens that pets, especially cats, will arrogantly drive you right off your own pillow! And all because the bed may not seem soft and comfortable enough for them. – Some dogs like to sleep under the covers too, just like their human! The slight pressure on our bodies from the blankets soothes the nervous system, much like a hug. – The most pleasant and clearest way to show they love you is when your pet crawls across your body up to your face as you’re sleeping. – The animals are located as close as possible to your hand so that you can easily pet them. Sort of like a tactile lullaby. – They steal your pillow, and sometimes they’ll even overtake the whole bed! Such pets are very spoiled and want to conquer all the sleep territory. – Many animals, such as zebras or giraffes, sleep while standing because they must be ready to flee from predators at any moment. – Some whales and orcas don't sleep at all for 3-4 weeks after birth. – Pet fish also sleep when night comes. As soon as you turn off the lamp near the aquarium, the fish quickly doze off.
– Walruses sleep in short intervals in the water because they need to surface for air. – Apes sleep a lot like humans! Adult gorillas and chimpanzees make themselves a comfortable soft bed by stacking leaves and grass. – Penguins, gather in a large tight circle and snuggle together in especially cold weather. How Gadgets Have Finally Changed Our Body Shape
What do you usually do while waiting for a bus or sitting on the subway on your way to the office? If you're like a lot of people, you're watching the screen of your smartphone or tablet. Why not? Everyone does it, after all. Our gadgets are closer to us than anything or anyone else. They're a source of information, communication, and fun. But it's good to keep in mind that our devotion to our gadgets is bad for the spine. American scientists have found out that we spend more than 2 hours a day looking at the screens of our smartphones and touch them almost 3000 times. Wooh, think of the germs! Their Australian colleagues went further and did a study on how gadgets influence our health. The results were astonishing… Other videos you might like:

Animation is created by Bright Side. SUMMARY:
– 218 people aged 18 to 30 took part in the research. Doctor David Shahar found a small bone appendix in the back of the head of 41% of the participants.
– The results showed that it was mainly young people who had the appendix. – Doctor Shahar and his colleagues assumed that the extra growth, and damage, was caused by bad posture. – The average time people spend with their eyes glued to the screen grew by 3 times in only one year, between 2010 and 2011, and it keeps growing.
– Scientists believe that the appendix itself poses no danger, but a spinal curvature does.
– But the more we bend our head forward, the heavier it becomes in relation to the neck. – There’s even a term referring to the specific slope of neck that appears as a result of it – “text neck”. – Chronic pressure causes problems, some of which can be solved only by surgeons. – Long-term stretching and straining leads to an inflammatory process in our tissues. – Another thing caused by gadgets is less crucial for the health of your neck, but detrimental to your appearance. It’s a double chin, which appears even with young and slim girls and boys. – Keep your smartphone at the level of your eyes so that your head stays in a vertical position and doesn’t bend. – Studies also advise using 2 hands and 2 thumbs for texting – it'll create a more symmetrical and comfortable position for the spine. – Just to make sure that you don't forget about your neck, there's a special app. Try “Neck guard” for Apple and “Posture” for Android. – While cosmetologists are looking for ways to protect skin from digital ageing, it’s a good idea to support it from inside. 50 Mind-Blowing Discoveries Uncovered in the Last Decade
When someone says: “10 years ago”, we think they talk about the 90s. Yet, in just a decade, we’ve had so many new discoveries and fun facts that brought us closer to understanding how the world works. For example, in 2010, a yellow-bellied lizard finally evolved to give birth. It’s a species of an Australian lizard that reproduces by laying eggs! In 2011, the world population reached 7 billion. In 2012, Venus passed directly between the Sun and the Earth. This won’t happen again until 2117. NASA landed a rover on Mars called Curiosity. It was the 4th one sent by NASA and it cruised around to find out whether there had been life on Mars. In 2013… but enough spoilers. Let’s go back in time and check it out! Scientists Recreated the Real Perfume of Cleopatra
Cleopatra came to the throne at just 17 years old. Cleopatra’s diet 6:43 SUMMARY:
– It turns out her scent was way more important to the Egyptians than just being a pleasant fragrance – it was a mark of social and economic status.
– In 2012, Professors Robert Littman and Jay Silverstein of the University of Hawaii, along with a team of scientists unearthed a bottle in an area of the dig where they thought an ancient perfumery probably stood. – The ingredients of the perfume point to high status. In ancient times, only someone very wealthy could afford this perfume; peasants wouldn’t have been able to afford perfume of any kind. – The olive oil would’ve been the base of the perfume and would’ve created a thick texture.
– Cinnamon was popular in Cleopatra’s day. The spice was even considered sacred for its uses in ancient rituals!
– Cardamom was another ingredient that would’ve likely been imported. The seeds and pods were crushed in order to be used in Cleopatra’s perfume.
– Myrrh added the alluring and slightly sweet scent of musk to the perfume, balancing out the spiciness. – Cleopatra’s scent really would have been her “signature” because one perfume will never smell the same on any two people.
– The cinnamon, cardamom, and myrrh were crushed into fine powders and stirred together. That mixture was added to the correct amount of olive oil. – Perfume also played an important economic and political role in the ancient world, making it that much more valuable. – Her moisturizer, a mix of honey and Aloe-Vera, would’ve helped her maintain that famous glow, and repair any damage from the Egyptian sun. – Cleopatra loved to use apple cider vinegar as a toner and rinse for her face. The queen would also add oatmeal to her bath, for a nourishing and moisturizing soak.
– Cleopatra’s diet played a huge role in her health, figure, and keeping a youthful appearance. Figs, for example, were a huge part of the queen’s diet, and figs are said to have many benefits for the skin and hair, as well as helping with weight management.
