Our #HealthCareHero of the week is an incredible ICU nurse named Johnathan Dodson from Kimmel Township in Pennsylvania. When Jonathan was 19, he was diagnosed with cancer and received a life-saving bone marrow transplant from a very generous donor. Her name is Shannon Weishuhn and she also happens to be a nurse. It has been 16 years and they've never met so we surprised him with her on the show. We also surprised Jonathan and Shannon with $10,000 each from our friends at Baileys. If you have a #HealthCareHero who you think we should feature on the show, share their story on social media with the hashtag #HealthCareHero – be sure to tag @JimmyKimmelLive and look for a message from us.
