You’ll never fill your money account if you don’t fill your education account first. So many new traders don’t get this. And a lot of new traders fail. Coincidence? I think not. Today, we’ve got two traders who definitely get it: Jack Kellogg and Dom Mastromatteo — my two latest six-figure profit students.** Here’s what I wanna know … what was most helpful during their learning process? These guys are in my Trading Challenge. They have access to the webinars, video lessons, and DVDs … so what helped them the most? Both Jack and Dom share their paths to trading. They’re both relatively new traders and super young. But young doesn’t mean stupid … that’s clear as soon as you understand the crazy work ethic they both have! Dom talks about how when he started trading he thought he’d make a quick $100K … Nope, not the case. But when a health issue hit, he had the opportunity to course-correct. And no, it’s not good that he had a health issue. But the silver lining is that he had time to study trading … and study he did. Dom would wake up at 7 a.m. every day and dedicate 12, 15, sometimes even 17 hours a day to trading — and he kept it up for about 10 months! Do the math. That’s a LOT of hours. You won’t believe how many times he watched “Trading Tickers.” Yep, it really can take that long to get up to speed on trading. But it can be worth it. So was there an aha moment? Or was it a slow but steady unfolding? Both Jack and Dom weigh in on the importance of studying and which resources they found most helpful. And they dive into some of the hardest lessons they learned along the way … like the fact that over-diversification of strategies is real. Sometimes, it’s better to focus on one or two things at a time and really learn to perfect them. The bottom line? You need to learn SO much before it’s possible to find consistency in your trading. These guys really understand what makes for a successful trader. They’re interested, they’re engaged, and they’re devoted to trading all day. Be sure to watch until the end … learn what we all agree is the one thing that is absolutely NECESSARY for smart, self-sufficient traders. How will you invest in your education account today and every day? Leave a comment if you’re dedicated! β
